• A product with a confirmed identity (see Tutorial 1)

This guide can be completed using the written steps. Additional illustrations are being prepared.

Steps

1. Open the inspection questionnaire. From your product, start the guided inspection session.
   
2. Answer each question honestly. Answer questions about overall condition, completeness, function, and any defects.
   
3. Use skip reasons only when appropriate. Optional questions can be skipped with a reason (e.g. 'unable to test'); required questions must be answered.
   
4. Complete the inspection. Once all required questions are answered, complete the inspection.
   

Expected result

Your product status moves to 'drafted', and your answers are recorded as your own confirmation.

Common errors

• A required question can't be skipped — answer it directly instead.
• Vague defect descriptions make for a weaker listing — be specific.

Privacy

Your answers, including any documented defects, are stored privately with your product.
