Inspection
Answering the guided questionnaire, and describing defects honestly.
How the questionnaire works
Once you confirm your item's identity, Reseller Express generates a short questionnaire based on its category. Questions typically cover overall condition, completeness (are all parts/accessories present?), whether the item functions correctly, and any defects.
Answering honestly
The goal of the questionnaire is to document your item's real condition — not to make it sound better than it is. Buyers rely on this information, and an honest listing avoids disputes later.
- Describe defects specifically (e.g. "small scratch on the back panel, does not affect function") rather than leaving them out.
- If you're not sure about a question, some questions can be skipped with a reason (for example, "unable to test" or "not applicable") — skipping is not the same as answering, and required questions cannot be skipped.
- Your answers are recorded as your own confirmation, not as an automated guess.
What happens next
Once you complete the inspection, Reseller Express uses your answers to help prepare the listing draft you'll review in the next step — see Listing review.
