How to take good photographs — and what not to upload.
How to take good photographs
- Use good, even lighting — natural daylight works well.
- Fill the frame with the item; avoid excessive background clutter.
- Photograph the item from more than one angle, including any labels or markings.
- Photograph any visible damage or wear clearly — this helps document condition honestly.
- Keep the camera steady to avoid blurry photos.
What not to upload
- Photos containing other people, faces, or personal documents.
- Photos showing your home address, mail, or other identifying personal information in the background.
- Photos of items that are prohibited or illegal to sell.
- Photos that aren't actually of the item you're listing.
